I recently saw a documentary on the harmful effects of social media. One girl's story stuck with me - she was cyberbullied to the point of attempting suicide. Her mother's words hit me hard: "the only thing that really helps teenage girls is when they help others." As teens, we feel the pressure to be perfect and popular, but we all crave connection and love.

I've had many sleepless nights wondering how to make a difference in the world. But after the documentary, I realized the key to helping ourselves is by helping others. That's why I joined the Friendship Circle and became friends with Gabby, a brave and kind girl who faces challenges with a smile.

Gabby is an athlete, dancer, singer, artist, and a great friend. Despite her struggles, she inspires me to keep smiling too. Friendship Circle helps people with special needs and those facing isolation make friends and become part of their community.
