For the past 4 years, I have been volunteering with Friendship Circle weekly, and I am serving on its board for my 2nd year. At Friendship Circle, high school kids pair up with other kids with disabilities and build relationships with them through different activities. These activities are equally helpful to the volunteers as they are to the participants. On March 26, I have teamed up with one of the Friendship Circle participants, Ariella Berman to participate in Friendship Circle’s annual 5k.
